Day 15 Birds

I was so thrilled to get good, long looks at Acorn Woodpeckers, which were a life bird.  I also heard a different vireo and it matched the iPod call exactly.  It was a Cassin's Vireo, so that was life bird #2 for the day.  Later while at the waterfall I saw what I thought was a Chimney Swift, but usually they are found in towns, so I'm thinking it was a Vaux's Swift.  Also eBird doesn't accept Chimney Swifts there and they come up rare for that area.

Acorn Woodpecker - Life bird!  I think this is a really cool
looking bird and I've always wanted to see one!
I saw this fine-looking Black-headed Grosbeak today too.
There are quite a few Stellar's Jays at Yosemite NP in California.
They seem to be begging for food from tourists, but people
are told to not feed the animals.
